August was a busy month for Scarlet. She visited restaurants, a senior’s home, the doctor’s office, an outdoor concert and the golf club. Scarlet was evaluated on her “Walk and Talk,” and the feedback was positive. We do daily handling of her paws in order for Scarlet to be comfortable trimming her nails. On the day we left for a 10-day camping trip, Scarlet went into heat. She spent lots of time with us outdoors in Central Washington. The favourite camping activity was paddle boarding on the lake.
Once home, we had a quiet rest of the month. Playing and training in the backyard was as far as we went.
