This was a big month for me! I turned 12 weeks old and have a new raiser! I also gained a big sister, PADS Mushu, who is part of the breeding program and is helping to mentor me and show me how things are done around here. I like to follow her everywhere, and she is already teaching me so much about how to be a good PADS dog.
I’ve only been with my raiser for a week, but it’s been a busy one. Even though I had to recover from kennel cough, I’ve had lots of new experiences. I’ve been exploring my new home and garden, discovering new toys, building on my house manners, and starting neighbourhood and adventure walks.
I even did my first settle with my new raiser at a coffee shop with some PADS buddies. My raiser was very proud of me and said my settle was awesome for our first outing together.
Next week I start my first in-person puppy class, and my kennel cough isolation period is finished, so I’m ready to put on my cape and get going!
