Sesame spent most of this month putting in hours at the training centre, working on becoming a mobility service dog! His retrieve is coming along well, and we are adding stillness to his ‘hold’. He has learned how to push drawers and doors closed with his nose and continues to work on his rear foot targeting, with the next step of having him pull closed doors.

He went to Home Depot a few times this month and practiced walking beside a shopping cart and working around it. We even got to see a dog there, which gave us the opportunity to ensure that his dog distraction days are behind him!

This month, we will continue to add in new mobility skills to Sesame’s routine and take these skills on the road with more field trips!

Thank you for your support of Advanced Dog Sesame. It is greatly appreciated!
