You will never believe the month I had! I went to middle school!! As part of a two-week puppy swap, I spent time in a classroom, in a P.E. class, outside on supervision, going to meetings, practicing a fire drill, and so much more. And that was only the weekdays! I also got the chance to go to restaurants, ride public transit, shop at the grocery store, check out a pet store and even cheer on the Canucks at a game. Everyone said I was such a good girl, and although I had fun, am glad to be back home now. 🙂

November was a busy month for Shadow III. We took her training on the road and did a field trip specifically to revisit public transit. Shadow showed that she was much more comfortable this time around and less perturbed by all the noises and bumps on the journey. A big highlight was a trip up to a farm in Pemberton, with PADS buddies Electra, Folie, and Velvet. Shadow got to meet the horses and had lots of time to play with her friends, which also meant lots of opportunities to practice her rocket recall. The last half of the month, Shadow got to go on a puppy swap with another fantastic raiser in our class. It’s an amazing opportunity for her to experience life with a new handler and see how she adapts to a whole different lifestyle. Needless to say, I think it was a hit!
