Shah had a busy month of learning, training, adventures and play! We started the month by going to Costco at a very, very busy time. He was a bit worried initially by the crowds and shopping carts, but recovered within a few minutes. The following weekend, we travelled to Drumheller to visit the dinosaurs at the Royal Tyrell Museum. Here, he got the chance to walk on different surfaces and practice how to move as part of a group of people. He got to visit a preschool where he was brushed and pet by several children, which was the highlight of his month!
On the training side of July, Shah continues to work on mobility skills while wearing a mobility harness. He is working on his retrieve, closing drawers and doors and pulling open doors.
