This month, Shah got to accompany the Advanced dogs on a field trip to the Calgary Courthouse. He was on his best behaviour and got to practice settling beside a witness stand. Thankfully, he is a chill guy and laying in a chair was right up his alley!
At the training centre, he has been working on ‘side’ and changing positions in a ‘heel’ position. He is slowly being introduced to mobility skills and has been working on rear-foot targeting. This has helped him keep still during a stand. He is proving to be a quick study with all things training-related!
