Shah had a great month providing entertainment to different PADS dogs that came and went. The highlight of the month was when PADS Bromley arrived from BC. Shah has taken on the role of big brother and is more than happy to play all day if allowed. Despite his large size, Shah is gentle and tempers his play style to fit that of an 8-week-old puppy.

Shah has entered his adolescent stage and decided that listening isn’t important. This means we are going back to basics with regard to environmental distractions, items on the ground and checking in. It is reassuring to see that it is still in there, but he enjoys pushing boundaries. He continues to work on position changes and movement skills.

At the end of the month, PADS Shah, Link II and Bromley attend the Calgary Police Services VAST volunteer appreciation. Shah proved how much he loves all people by trying to say hello to everyone who got within 10 feet of him! This was a great opportunity for him to practice settling and maintaining his manners.
