During this initial phase, our primary goal has been to assessย Shimmer’sย abilities and acclimate her to new environments. We’ve incorporated a variety of field trips to provide exposure to different scenarios and gauge her reactions. These experiences have been instrumental in understanding her comfort levels and identifying areas for further development.
Shimmer has a nice medium-level energy, making her a promising candidate for a range of PADS jobs. She is biddable, readily responds to commands, and shows enthusiasm for training activities. Notably, Shimmer has a keen interest in retrieving and carrying items.
As we move forward, we plan to introduce additional skills in the coming months, building upon the foundation established during this initial period.ย
