Smaug’s September Pupdate 🐾
September was the month of fine-tuning for young Sir Smaug. His perch work is looking sharp. He’s steady, centered, and confident, like he finally realized his perch isn’t just for photo ops . His backup has become smooth and deliberate, with far fewer creative interpretations of “straight line.”
We also put serious focus on the duration of his touch, and he’s learning that holding still is a skill in itself. The patience and focus he’s building now are starting to show in every part of his work.
It wasn’t a flashy month, but it was a smart one. Filled with steady progress, sharper precision, and a little more professionalism from the dragon-in-training.
