The big news for Smore in January was a sudden “invitation” to attend a neuter clinic at Douglas College. Because of Covid, the drop off instructions were to park in a certain lot and turn on the hazard lights in the car. Two vet technician students wearing lab coats then walked across the street and picked up Smore for his pre-surgery exam and later that week for the final operation. It was like being in a spy movie!! Smore was staying with a puppy sitter during this process, but he is now recovering at home in Aldergrove with his puppy-raiser, Hilda. He may never want to get in the red car again….
