Sparrow continues on her amazing journey to become a service dog. This month, sheβs been in heat, so she isnβt out and about in her usual haunts but is working on loose leash walking (which she is acing), some cues, and some calming activities. Weβve started taking slower walks and doing more sniffing and observing the world. She loved the snow and got to run around in it and eat quite a lot of it. She had a scary (but routine) blood draw at the vetβs and managed it pretty well. Sheβs a very healthy, happy, beautiful pup. Next week, Sparrow goes to stay at a sitterβs for a month.
