Sparrow is a sweet spicy puppy who loves to sleep, eat, cuddle, and play. She is learning new things every day such as recall, walking nicely on a leash, and perching. Even more importantly, sheβs learning to be calm in public, to have good manners in the house and other venues, and to be calm on her bed and in her kennel even when the humans are around. Sheβs learned that itβs best not to bark or jump on people in public and that puppies get a lot more treats and pats when theyβre sitting still.
This month Sparrow is struggling a bit with teething and her teeth are falling out and being replaced with adult ones. Not much fun for her. This month Sparrow got to go to an in-person puppy class, to Victoria on the ferry, to a PowWow, went to some music concerts, restaurants, Beerfest in Steveston, and did all the usual fun outings. The fall weather is her favourite because she loves to chase leaves and lie on the warm sun spots on the floor.
