Hi Friends!
August was a blast — and extra special because it was my birthday month! I’m officially a year old now, which means I’m technically not a puppy anymore (but don’t worry, I still act like one).
For my big day, my pawrents took me to the beach, treated me to a pup cup, spoiled me with a brand-new toy, gave me a warm bath, and then we capped it all off with snacks and cuddles — the dream combo.
But that’s not all! August was packed with adventures:
- Went golfing for the very first time (no golf balls harmed).
- Supervised some tiny humans at swimming lessons (big fan of the doggy paddle).
- Hosted so many dinner parties with our favorite people (greeted everyone like the true hostess)
- Met a crab (kept our paws and claws to ourselves).
And the absolute best part? I got to have a birthday party with my siblings! I hadn’t seen them since I was just 8 weeks old, but as soon as we were together, it was like no time had passed. We zoomed up and down the trails, played nonstop, and reminded each other just how much fun it is to be together. My sisters are the best — they just get me, yenno? And my brothers? Let’s just say they claim they’re faster than me… I let them think it’s true for now.
This summer was full of play with a little mix of work, and now I’m excited to get back on the fetch wagon and prepare for my next handful of assessments.
Here’s to year one — and all the adventures still to come!
Love,
Sparx
