January was a month full of adventure for me. After my December heat, I was more than ready to get back out there and explore the world. I kicked things off by ringing in the new year at home with my parents. It was cozy, but let’s be honest, I was already dreaming about snow.
New Year’s Day took me to Whistler, and wow. Snow everywhere, people everywhere, and every single one of them clearly delighted to see me. I practiced my settling in the tiniest, squishiest, busiest restaurant ever. My humans were very proud, though I suspect they were mostly impressed I didn’t knock anything over. My spatial awareness has much improved!
Later in the month, I made a trip to Fergie’s Cafe in Squamish, which is a dog-friendly cafe with plenty of wildlife. Perfect practice. I stayed cool, calm, and collected, even when a weiner dog in a puffy coat tried to steal my cookie.
can’t wait for next month!
