What an exciting month for Spirit. He started off by making friends with the firefighters in Surrey who were also doing some training, then he went on the Canada Line to the airport to pick up my sister. He likes to be part of the welcoming team for weary travellers and imagines all the places he might go.
The library is a good place to explore and learn about these possibilities, so he goes there quite regularly with my grandchildren. He’s very good about being quiet in this environment. Even when he went to the very busy and crowded IKEA for his field trip, he stayed in the food line for half an hour, waited till I finished eating and was an amazing ambassador for being a great PADS puppy. I was so very proud of him.
Spirit also went to a hospital and was lucky enough to meet a PADS working dog (Roo), who showed him a few of the ropes.
