Spring II continued to impress us throughout her second month, proving just how smart she really is. She has already picked up an incredible range of new skills, including Side, Heel, Perch, Touch, Chin, and Place. It is so fun to watch her learn so quickly! She also reached a major milestone with her potty training and is now more or less fully trained. As she continues to grow bigger by the day, we even had to upgrade her to a larger crate to keep her comfortable.
A big part of February involved a new experience for Spring: staying with a sitter for two weeks while we were away on a work trip. Her sitter works at an elementary school, and she had nothing but glowing things to say about how well Spring settled into that environment. She became quite a celebrity with the students and handled all the attention beautifully. She was exposed to so many new things during those two weeks, from watching a basketball team practice to getting pampered by the kids. We were so proud to hear how well-behaved she was in such a busy setting.
Beyond her time at the school, Spring has also become very comfortable travelling safely in the car, which makes our outings much easier. We missed her tremendously while we were away, but we are so thankful she was so well-loved and handled the transition with such ease. She ended the month weighing 28 lbs, and we are constantly amazed by her progress and her sweet temperament.
