He’s like a grown-up dog in a puppy body,” that’s how someone described Spyro recently. It’s true that Spyro is relaxed, attentive, and can do many of the behaviours of an adult dog. He can go anywhere and remains calm, though sometimes he needs to check out the situation. For example, when his person went for a massage, Spyro walked around the table, then convinced his person was okay, he gave them a puppy kiss and promptly fell asleep.
In addition to maturing into a good-natured dog, Spyro, like many labs, has developed an instinctive ability to tell time, particularly mealtime! Also, like many labs, Spyro is not keen on bathtime however he seems to understand that this is the price to be paid for having hikes when the snow has melted and there is lots of dirt. Perhaps all his recent baths will prepare Spyro for lake swimming, which will be happening soon.
