Hi, I’m Stetson!
I met my new raisers on December 2, 2025, on a snowy afternoon in Calgary. They were at the airport to greet me, and when I stepped outside the terminal, the soft, white snow fell on my face for the first time. I loved it, and when I got to my new home, I was so excited to run and play in the snow before exploring my new indoor world.
I’m not a shy puppy. When I was offered my first meal in my new home, I accepted it with much enthusiasm. After all, it had been a long journey from Vancouver. What goes great with a full belly is a long nap, and that’s exactly what I did.
I love attention, whether meeting new people, practicing my lessons, playing with my toys, or getting a belly rub in my doggie bed. Did I mention car rides are doggone good? I’ve gone in the car to meet the C-train after my raiser finished work, to the vet for my checkup (the Doc says I’m in great health), to the mall, and I even got to go with one of my raisers to her work for a day (everyone there was happy to meet me).
I must have been on Santa’s nice list this year because he filled my stocking with cool, chewy toys and a warm winter coat. My New Year’s resolution for 2026 is to stay healthy and learn as much as I can while staying calm, confident, and adaptable in each situation. I want to make everyone proud of me this year.
