September was another busy month for me! I spent some time with one of our newest puppy sitters because my raisers got sick. I had so much fun teaching them all about having a PADS dog in their life, and I think I did a great job.
This month, I’ve been to several hockey games. I didn’t really like the goal horn at first, but I get lots of kibble when it sounds, so I guess that’s okay. I also got to attend choir practice, and everyone was very impressed that I didn’t try to sing along.
I’ve continued to work hard at Puppy class. We’re practicing positioning work, and I have lots of fun pivoting around on my perch stool. Sometimes, I don’t want to give the stool back. We also worked on distraction work. I figured out pretty quickly that if I didn’t go for the distraction and just looked at my raiser, I received lots of kibbles, so that was awesome!
Well, that’s all this month.
Cheers!
