Tahsis had an exciting and emotional February. Her raiser, whom she’d known for 5 months, took on a new job in a different province and prepared her for transferring to a new raiser, me!
On February 19th, Tahsis greeted me with excitement at the PADS station, and Linda handed her over along with her favourite things, some instructions, her kennel, and some tears. Tahsis quickly adjusted to my apartment. Let’s just say the first week of adjustment was exhausting for both of us, a lot of change to handle. We gained some confidence and got out for walks, trained at the mall, did errands around uptown New West, and visited some soon-to-be favourite people.
