November has been a month of new experiences!
The start of the month began with a beach day celebration to congratulate PADS Tio on making it to Puppy University, a.k.a. Advanced Training. I will miss my campus canine buddy but am excited to keep learning so I can make it to Advanced Training when I’m older! With Halloween over, shops seem to be getting into the holiday spirit. I went with my human to the Vancouver Circle Craft Market. I was a very good boy and got lots of compliments. My human tried so many yummy samples but didn’t share any with me, how rude! In the middle of the month, I got to go on a short vacation to Whistler. Mum put me in the back seat because her friend needed leg room in the front but I think we should have put him in the back seat. I slept most of the ride up there and was a model working dog walking around the village and shops.
My human was very busy with school this month so I had lots of practice with settling and I sleep pretty much every class we go to now. I still sometimes snore though…my human thinks it’s embarrassing but her classmates think it’s cute and giggle. I have been introduced to lots of new skills this month such as touch and chin, as well as I was working on my duration sits and downs. My human can put me in a sit and walk in a full circle without me moving. I have learned when she walks behind me it doesn’t mean she’s leaving me.
We concluded this month with a campus canines Karaoke and Trivia Event! What I didn’t know was that mum was going to give me a bath before the event! Anyhow, I tolerated it and am getting so much better with the big, loud, blow dryer! PADS Wrigley and I were handsome and well-behaved boys welcoming all the guests into the restaurant and we even recruited some new PADS members! I took the mic to do some karaoke but I got nervous with all the people watching me. I guess my singing will stay at home. I love the holiday spirit and can’t wait to see snow next month. Hope you all are enjoying following my journey so far.
