Hello world,

March was a fun month with a couple of new activities for me. We started the month off at a PADS fundraising event. It was a loud, crowded event, where I had to work on my manners. After a little while, I figured out that if I wanted to go out and see people, I needed to be on my best behaviour. I sat with a cute little female PADS puppy and was really willing to meet her, but mom and her handler kept us separate. Mom and I got up and danced on the dance floor a little, the band was rocking!!

We found a couple of new places to go for walks with some new challenges. One was beside a railway track; there are fences there to keep me safe. When the train came by, I had a hard time figuring it out. I watched it very intrigued. It didn’t scare me; it was just interesting.

I also had a session with another PADS dog, Hunter. We worked on remembering our manners and how to walk apart together. It took us some time to get into a rhythm, but we finally made it. To end things, we got to play off-leash -that was lots of fun.

We still have snow at the moment, but hopefully it is coming to an end. I come home quite wet after a good sniffy walk. I am still practicing my ignore behaviours when other dogs and people come walking by, and I am doing quite well. It’s when the little kids come by that I really want to go play with them. I find them such interesting creatures.

Until next time, Tank out.
