This month, Texas II continues to strengthen his mobility skills. He sometimes struggles with picking up metal, so we are working hard on those using high-value treats. Texas has hit the trails a few times this month and his recall is improving significantly. He attended a spring gala for the UBC Campus Canines with his trainer, where he demonstrated and performed some of his service tasks. We are working on his foundations and hoping to do his preplacement test in a few months. Recent field trips included Cabela’s, Seven Oaks Mall, Vancouver Police Museum, PetSmart, and UBC. Good job Texas!
