This month had some very hot days, but Mister Thorin kept himself cool with ocean swims. Since learning to swim earlier this summer, he loves to take every opportunity he can to get into the water. In addition to his ocean swims, he has been enjoying many hikes and trail runs. He has had several restaurant outings and ferry rides this month and was very well-behaved. We have had several visitors/guests and their puppies staying with us, and Thorin adjusted very well. He is still somewhat distracted in the grocery store with enticing bits of food on the floor or with anyone who might pay him some attention, but he is working hard to overcome this. Thorin especially enjoyed his little vacation with his old friend and big brother, released PADS dog Sprout, for a few weeks. He is looking forward to a less hectic schedule next month.
