Tio started off the month with sitters and got to live with a puppy roommate PADS Thresher! They had lots of fun playing and training together. They also had some playdates with other PADS puppies in training. Then Tio went home to his raiser for the holidays! He easily got back into his old routine. He worked on long settling sessions while she finished up her semester at university and got to visit his Campus Canines UBC friends at their Christmas puppy class. They did some great training, took lots of pictures, did some arts and crafts, and exchanged Secret Santa gifts!
Tio also went with his raiser to puppy pick up and got to meet his half-nephew PADS Casper, his raiserβs new puppy. They had a blast playing together and Tio was good at adjusting his play style for the little 8-week-old puppy.
Later in the month, Tio went on vacation. It was his seventh-ever flight, and he rocked it, as usual. He enjoyed getting loads of attention at Christmas gatherings and practiced being calm in the house with multiple other dogs. He really enjoyed opening gifts and shredding the wrapping paper!
Throughout the month, Tio has been working on polishing his puppy-raising skills like loose leash walking. Heβs learning every day and loving his training! In January, heβll get to join a trainer at PADS and really get started with his advanced training journey.
