I hope everyone had a restful and happy holiday and new year.

I started off the month by getting used to being back with my raiser after our puppy swap. I really enjoyed staying with PADS Lohn’s raiser but definitely missed my work people (and they missed me). The office was all decorated for the holidays with Christmas trees and a very big lunch!

I made my raiser laugh so hard at a sparks evening where I decided to join the sparks on the floor and then my guides had their very special promise ceremony (I missed them).

PADS Parker and I met this really strange fellow called Santa at the Burnaby pet photo fundraiser for PADS, and I wore my jingly antlers. We also had our class party where our trainer Nicole made some very special presents.

There were soooooo many sparkly lights this month with a trip to the PNE.(I did very well, my raiser was told by all of her co-workers).

That was only the first half of the month! I got to spend the holidays with an amazing family, Katrina and Austin & family, with their 2 cats and their poodle Kirito. I loved the busy house and having a doggo friend to play with and even my first time living with cats, I learnt to be gentle and slow with them. Austin worked in a store that I had only ever walked around so it was cool being behind the counter.

Well, I’m off to enjoy the new year!

PS – my training is going really well, and I have most of my cues. I’m learning how to hold them now (duration). But that’s boring information!
