Well, the new year has started off with a very low-key and relaxing January!

A couple of days after my raiser picked me up after the holidays, my 2nd heat started! This has put a little bit of a delay on my turn-in which was meant to be in February with my siblings, until later in the year, apparently, we girls always have the best timings. 🙂

It SNOWED! I got to have lots of long-line sniffy walks and plays in the snow (then the rain) as well as a few visits to go and see PADS Electra for some training with distractions, and loose leash walking with a friend before we were allowed to play, our raisers also shut the door on us, how rude! (raiser here… just the bottom part of the door see photo below).

My raiser and I played lots of games and while I wasn’t allowed to go into the stores we did work on walking past the pet shops calmly. She also took the chance to smart up some of my cues especially my ‘chin’ and ‘chin on floor’ which I now like to practice on her knee while she’s working!

To round out the month, I worked on my bed duration at Sparks, which my raiser was super proud of as when I was little, I just wanted to be with her or bark, and now I can be on my bed just watching.
