This month, Tope spent time with different Advanced Training Sitters while waiting to be assigned to an Advanced Trainer’s string.
- Skills being Learned: Generalization of skills in unfamiliar or high distraction environments, default leave-it of food on the ground or offered by a stranger’s hand, off-leash recall, left and right paw shake
- Recent Field Trips: BC Lions game, “volunteering” at Science World, various stores and restaurants, riding SkyTrain and buses
- Having Fun With: Sniffari and off-leash walks, playtime with other dogs, cuddle sessions
- Possible Behaviour Challenges: Scavenging
