Turtle has spent April working hard on his skills to become a PTSD service dog. His new favourite skill has to be “my lap” because he gets to squeeze a cuddle session into his day. He has been taking his skills on the road and has enjoyed many field trips to places like the mall and Aggie Days, where he met many children, farm animals and even a few rodeo princesses.

  • Skills being learned: Body targeting, alerts to anxiety, deep pressure
  • Recent field trips: Aggie Days, E.P. Scarlett School, Macleod Trail Animal Hospital
  • Possible behavior challenges: Vocal/fidgety when handler is idle
  • Advanced training location: Calgary

Thank you again for all your support of Advanced Dog Turtle!
