Valentino has had a more relaxed start to the year in terms of field trips. He continues to provide support at the Childrenβs Hospital and is becoming known for his affectionate personality.
With fewer puppy classes, we have maintained training, specifically a nice neat heel and side position.
The highlight in January was having PADS Asti visit (my first puppy). Valentino thoroughly enjoyed having a younger pup to play with and work with.
We did some agility sessions and visited T&T for a slightly different grocery experience. To round off the month, Asti and Valentino were a huge hit at a senior’s tea party. Valentino had a close encounter with a cinnamon bun about to slide off an elderly lady’s plate, my fast intervention prevented consumption of this lovely-looking human treat. It also provided a training opportunity which I think we may need more practice on.
Asti, thank you for visiting, you are a true sweetheart and Iβve loved our cuddles. All you need is your blue vest, as you are an amazing AFD dog already making positive differences in a school setting every day.
