Valentino has had a good combination of downtime at home, block walks, and some adventure walks which he absolutely loved.

We have managed grocery stores without any toileting accidents but will need to work on ignoring food scraps on the floor.

Tino visited CPS Head Quarters, EMS, and The Children’s Hospital, as always spreading awareness of PADS and who doesn’t love a puppy to make a difference and brighten one’s day.

Last week we visited Brookfield in downtown Calgary along with other puppy raisers. We were inundated by staff all genuinely interested in our roles, the process of a PADS puppy and the difference they make once graduated. A very proud puppy Muma as Valentino excelled meeting so many people, other than a 5 minute Power Nap he was on form throughout.

To end a marvellous March, Valentino had an Easter sleepover with Chantelle and I got to visit with the gentle giant PADS Pyxis. Oh my, this big boy thinks he’s a lap dog and literally sits on your lap, we had the best snugs and walks in Bragg Creek and it was definitely a slower pace with this big guy. Finally, Pyxis broke some hearts at the Children’s Hospital today, with one little girl asking if she could keep him.

Looking forward to more outdoor walks, training, and field trips with Spring and warmer weather on their way hopefully.
