Valentino continues to amaze me. He is so smart and picks things up in no time at all. He loves to please and be rewarded and has this hilarious, goofy personality. He continues to retrieve items, gently putting them in my hand when told to ‘drop it’.
He has been on a few school visits, the mental health unit at the Children’s, and the ICU and Youth Link. He is becoming more proficient in remaining calmer for longer periods. He has this natural ability to adapt to the setting he is in, and behave accordingly. Quite remarkable for such a young pup with a high energy level.
He has spent a week with Viv and Asti, going to school every day and has been the best boy, with teachers commenting on his calmness for such a young dog.
We had a last-minute invite to a fundraiser luncheon with Chantelle and Brinx, and I was concerned about the duration, but I gave the cue, ‘Go In’, and there he stayed for 2 hours under the table, super proud of this handsome boy. I imagined Valentino and Brinx getting into all sorts of shenanigans.
