VESPA II has transitioned to the Team Burnaby string this month and is enjoying working with the group of trainers who are a part of Team Burnaby. Vespa is very sweet and gentle and has such a lovely affiliative nature. Vespa is currently working on impulse control and capping games to help her resolve her over excitement around exciting stimuli. We look forward to seeing how Vespaβs training will progress working with Team Burnaby.
- Skills being learned: Capping games for over arousal, basic obedience adding durations and varying distractions
- Recent field trips: 6th and 6th, Costco, Lougheed Mall, New West Quay, Warner Loat off leash dog park
- Possible behavior challenges: Barrier frustration/frustration barking, impulse control, mouthing when greeting/activated
