Vespa IIΒ has had a busy and fun month! She loves working on her skills and getting lots of pets and attention, especially if thereβs a bonus treat or two! She is growing in her focus and patience and has reduced her vocalizing. Sometimes her spicy personality takes over, and she just has to let you know she has an opinion to share! Vespa also spent some time this month working with Margaret, including a field trip to Bowen Island. It was extra fun because her brother Fischer was there too! Vespa hopes to continue to grow and to begin preparing for pre-placement testing in the coming months!Β
- Skills being learned: Practice of calm, foundations and potential skills
- Recent field trips: New Westminster neighbourhoods, Lougheed Mall and others
- Possible behavior challenges: scent distraction, barrier frustration barking
