We happily welcomed Mr. Waffle to the household for his final month of puppy raising! He is going to be entering advanced training in May. His raiser and everyone who had a hand in his upbringing should be so proud of the work they put into this beautiful boy.
He settled in with his new roommates (Shadow and Groot) and loves the routine of lots of walks, playtime, and, obviously, training to fine-tune his skills. Waffle got to attend the province-wide Paddles for PADS pickleball fundraiser, which was an absolute blast. We also have been working on settling out in public in particular in the company of another dog.
On one trip to the pet store, I was looking at a toy for the baby pups-Waffle took one look at the toy and promptly took it and started carrying it out of the store. Had to get it for him!
Finally, he got an opportunity to join his raiser on a trip to Toronto. This boy is a dream, and I am excited to see what his future holds!
