This month, Zion II has been trying out daily kennel drop-offs and pick-ups, which has helped her bring more calm to her day. She’s still quite a spicy girl, and her excitement builds quickly when she’s working on skills with food. She’s working on her “dimmer switch” and taking breaks to help her stay in the thinking and learning zone. Zion’s current focus has been practicing ‘leave it’ for kibble on the floor – sometimes, they just look too tasty! However, slowly but surely, she is learning to resist temptation. She’s progressing nicely in her understanding skills and loves being close to her handler, even during downtime.
