January โ25 Pupdate by Zoe’s perspective;
This โJanuaryโ month isโฆfirst Iโve heard of it. I like it. I went with Charly to massage therapy a few times. She tucks me in the kennel, gives me a dog sickle, and then I drift off to this soft music. In mid-January, I went out with โthe packโ. Alfa Teri took us all on quite an adventure in the forest, we walked on logs and did perch and stood up high. It was really fun and then we went for a coffee afterwards. I donโt drink coffee. I donโt like it – keeps me up. I donโt get my 70% of the day of sleeping time in. Apparently, I also donโt โ likeโ peanut butter either- or peanut butter does not like me.
I met a new friend on the pack jaunt, Mushu – we are almost the very same age, and weโve had a few play dates since then – she is in the bright pink collar – I like her lots. My best non-beast friend is Ryder. I let him do anything with me- bear hugs and lay around on me, me on him – squish my face – anything – heโs fun, heโs like a brotherโฆhe is my brother, and when he lays on top of me, heโs not heavy. In this picture, Ryder says I was โstonedโ, and I don’t eat rocks anymore, so heโs full of โฆpeanut butter.
Then one morning, I woke up and went outside and there was white cold stuff everywhere -they call it โSNOWโ, itโs fun and I crunch on the hard bits sometimes – itโs much like ice cubes that fall out of the freezer – slurpy, sloppy- and cold- I pop them out of my mouth for them to warm up a bit and then slurp โem back in and crunch until I canโt stand the cold and then I put them in my cheek to warm up and then I crunch little bits at a time. Chuck gave me some ice cubes made of chicken soup when I was sick – apparently, I might have picked up a bit of Maui Wowee on a walk – it was really bleched (on the human Dr. waiting room floor- then everything was really interesting and cars were very loud and I could not hear Chuck at all, even though she was talking at me very loud, then all of a sudden, I did zooooomies and then a could hardly find the energy to walk and was wobbly, and Chuck and then Perry, carried me to the car. But overnight, after a consult with PADS medical and with some TLC far away from THC, I got better. Chuck keeps on saying to me, “JUST SAY NO to drugsโ she says, Nancy Regan said that over and over for at least 4 years… no idea who Nancy is, and I canโt talk soโฆwhatever. I went to a party- all there was, was regular grass- I said โnoโ anyways, but I did taste the peanut butter dog birthday cakeโฆnever again โฆI do that; pick up stuff – Iโd have a two-pack a day cigarette butt habit if I went unchecked. Even when I sneak one Chuck, she seems to know and reaches almost to my stomach to get it out. Sometimes she finds other things in there too- โnope, that’s not itโฆ.toss aside, and she goes againโฆ I promised her Iโd stop โinhalingโ. Iโm so known for this habit PADS cast me in a movie- a training film. They treated me well on set – cradled me just like my contract said. Kraft table was OK – a treat(s) from the normal, every day kibble.
‘February’ -I like the sound of it, and Iโm rearing and ready to go.
