July was an “unconventional” month for Zoe (… as if ANY month with a pup could be termed “conventional”!).

Summer holidays, few classes, hot weather … and Zoe contracted kennel cough (possibly at a dog park), which developed into pneumonia. Cleared up by meds from a vet visit in consultation with PADS medical.

Just her luck to then have her first ‘heat’; actually few issues and now over.

Given all the above, Zoe’s activity was mainly restricted to solo park outings, creek splashes, and plane watching at YVR. A highlight was picking up her bro, Ryder, at Camp Summit north of Squamish & meeting the remarkable camp director, “Parky” … who loves dogs.
