September morning …with Ryder on his first day of Grade 9 at Carson Graham. I didn’t get to stay and visit Diego (One of Carson’s two PADS dogs) that day because everyone was busy, but I’ll plan to stop by soon.
Check this out…my million $$$ grin…Oh my what big teeth I have – all the better to chew your …rrrr, sticks and stuff ; oh my ! what a big NOSE I have too! All the better to smell you-ourrr sticks.
Chuck and I went to the bank together. Here is me asking her how much money I have. She said I get paid in kibble, but she also did say something about wooden nickels and not to take any… wood is my favourite flavour…great to chew on and curbs my (constant) Lab appetite for a little while. Gives me that full feeling. So, if they give me any of those wooden Nickels, it’s ok by me.
The best wood is the soft stuff at the river bank. The others just leave it (there), they just DO NOT KNOW what they are missing ! Chuck said wood is ‘roughage’ and explained that, in the end, it’s rough on me – makes me do a little ruff or two sometimes, so she knows me and roughage need her help.
