Zuko had company this month as we were sitting PADS Allen for a few weeks. They enjoyed each other’s company and had lots of playtime. When they got too rambunctious in the house, the bed cue came in handy, and it was time out on their beds for a bit.

It snowed this month. Zuko and Allen had a blast racing around the backyard in the white stuff!

Zuko’s big adventure this month was going to the PADS Puppy Puddle at the Invictus Games, where he met all kinds of people. The big event was after Zuko attended the gold medal wheelchair rugby game, (Prince) Harry asked to meet Zuko, Allen and PADS Haynes (who was with us). We all happily got our picture taken!

Bonus Pupdate:

Dear Zuko, this week went by so fast I cannot believe it’s time for you to go home. From day 1, you showed me what a special pup you are. You know how to give my senior pup her personal space. It tickled me watching you both sitting side by side outside the kitchen, watching me prepare your meals. You are the first PADS pup in my first year as a sitter, that my 14-lb pup feels safe enough to invite to play. My heart swelled with pride when we practised duration. You held your position even though I gave treats to my pup on purpose right in front of you. Our LLW improved over the week as you paid more attention to me. It got easier to re-engage you, even when you are in a sniffing fest. Thank you for bringing so much joy to me. I cannot wait to sit you again.
