Meet Sadie II and her team Christian, Emily and Kathleen. Sadie works to support the Internet Child Exploitation Unit at the Vancouver Police Department and is doing a fantastic job in her role so far.
Sadie II came to PADS through our Partnership with the Assistance Dogs International (ADI) Breeding Cooperative (ABC). She was born at Warrior Canine Connection and then made her way to the Lower Mainland where she was raised, trained and placed. She was even sponsored by Vancouver Career College!
Sadie was raised by Susan & Derek who describe her as a a sweet, super smart and slightly mischievous pup. As a family they welcomed her into their home and taught her the basics of house manners, a love of learning and obedience cues all while working on key elements of socialization to get her used to the world around her. Sadie then headed to the Burnaby campus to meet her trainers and her Advanced Sitters Kerry and Antje.
Thank you to everyone on #Team Sadie for their hard work and dedication to this pup. She is truly doing amazing things for those who need her most.
