SMS Communications
By providing your mobile phone number to Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS), you consent to receive SMS (text) messages from PADS staff regarding your interactions with the organization and the communications described in the Program Description below.
Consent to receive SMS communications is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time as described in these Terms & Conditions.
Program Description
Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS) uses SMS messaging to facilitate one-to-one communication between PADS staff and individuals who interact with the organization, including volunteers, donors, clients, service dog applicants, partners, and members of the public.
Messages are conversational and informational in nature and may include responses to inquiries, volunteer coordination, program information, service updates, appointment scheduling, event logistics, service dog support, and other operational communications.
PADS does not use SMS through Microsoft Teams Phone for marketing campaigns, bulk messaging, automated messaging, promotional advertising, or affiliate marketing. SMS communications are intended solely for person-to-person interactions.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your relationship with PADS and the nature of your communications with our staff.
Messages are sent as needed to facilitate communications and are not sent according to a predetermined schedule.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier’s plan. Contact your mobile service provider for details regarding applicable messaging or data charges.
Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opting Out
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message received from PADS.
Once your opt-out request has been processed, PADS will discontinue SMS communications to your mobile number unless you subsequently reinitiate contact or provide renewed consent.

Information collected through SMS communications is handled in accordance with the PADS Privacy Policy, available at:
PADS may share information with service providers as necessary to deliver SMS communications and support organizational operations. PADS does not sell mobile phone numbers or personal information to third parties.
Mobile opt-in information and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Changes to These Terms
PADS may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will become effective upon posting.
Continued participation in SMS communications following the posting of revised Terms & Conditions constitutes acceptance of those changes.
