About The Classic

For over 35 years, since 1988, through the generosity of Willow Park directors and members, and through the support of sponsors, players and volunteers, the Willow Park Charity Golf Classic has donated over $12.7 million to Calgary charities.

Proceeds from the 2024 the Willow Park Golf Charity Classic will go to the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS) .

PADS is proud to partner with the Willow Park community to fund the renovations and accessibility upgrades of our new Calgary Training Centre which will house our Puppy Academy Program, staff offices, volunteer workspaces, outdoor play and enrichment areas, and larger-capacity Advanced Training area to be named the Willow Park Advanced Training Wing.

When completed, this facility will help us place more life-changing dogs in the Calgary region like PADS Turbo.

Meet Willy & Turbo

Willy, a Calgary firefighter, was matched with Turbo in the winter of 2022 and when we asked him about what it means to have PADS Turbo in his life, he shared the following:

“Turbo brings with him a calming presence and a watchful eye. I know he’s always got my back. We haven’t had any big triggers to deal with lately, but Turbo is definitely starting to tune in to my tells and give me a nudge or some love when required. All and all he is a game changer already. He’s like an extra layer that keeps things from boiling over too much. I love him so much already! And so does my family. Thank you PADS! I can’t say it enough.”
