Milan goes to work everyday in my grade 4 class. Just before spring break during our morning sharing circle, one of the boys said, “Milan sure smells good today!”
I responded and said, “Yes, Milan had a shower this weekend.”
He looked at me funny and asked, “Milan knows how to shower on her own?”
I laughed and replied, “No, I have to shower with her to make sure she get’s clean.” Suddenly all the boys started giggling and I realised they were probably imagining me in the shower, so I quickly blurted, “in a bathing suit.”
The class went dead silent and the same boy, with a very confused look on his face asked, ” Milan has a bathing suit? ”
At this point the whole class burst in to a fit of laughter and I laughed so hard I cried.
