This month Rumba spent some time with a sitter and began sleeping through Communications Studies classes at MRU. Fortunately, he is much more interested in his service-dog training than his communications degree – despite being with a new handler in so many new places, he remains focused. His new environment includes exposure to a lot of children in a daycare, a pre-kindergarten and an elementary school, but Rumba keeps cool amidst all the chaos. He retains great eye contact with his sitter andΒ obeys commands despite the busy-ness around him.
