Odin Sept 2015 photo 1 smlOdin enjoyed severalΒ bus and SkyTrain trips this month.Β  He boardedΒ the bus and SkyTrain with ease and after just a little manoeuveringΒ and a treat (of course), Odin was happy to settle near my feet and outΒ of the passenger traffic in the aisles. Several passengers learnedΒ about PADS as we crossed the three zones in Vancouver and bussed on to
the Sunshine Coast.

Odin Sept 2015 photo 2 smlAnother event that was memorable In September was our trip to PortΒ Alberni which took in the Alberni Fall Fair and Parade.Β  Odin spentΒ several evenings in the fair’s petting zoo area getting familiar withΒ the farm animals.Β  He found the Texas long-horned steer a littleΒ intimidating but he did get used to the llamas, the donkeys and theΒ chickens.Β  The fall fair picture is of Odin sitting beside the longestΒ cucumber that we have ever seen – a prize winner for sure!Β Β  While inΒ Port Alberni he also met with his favourite pal, Jet, for two refreshingΒ morning playdates at the Christmas Tree farm.Β  Thanks Jet!!!

At 20 months Odin is spending lots of time practicing obedience withΒ distraction and fluency training.Β  This is challenging work for OdinΒ and some days are great.Β  β€œPractice makes perfect” is our motto so we’ll
keep on practicing.Β πŸ™‚
