River got to go visit a Great Dane for lots of play time with an older and BIGGER dog while having sleepovers for a couple of weeks this month. Β While with that family, River learned to “shake a paw”. Β Yay! Β (Thanks, Donna!)
Then a few days later, River got to go with a teacher to an elementary school on their final “assembly day”. Β There were 300 kids and classes of students were walking right by the tiny space where River was settled on her blanket. Β The students walked up to the front of the auditorium to perform and there was great excitement in the room, with children, singing and clapping everywhere. Β She didn’t once show any interest in them.
Maybe River was just too tired from having had the Great Dane to play with!
Anyway, as you can see in the photo, River was happy to be in a Down close to a student who was sitting on the floor nearby. Β (Thanks to Jennifer for the photo)
And the puppy sitterβs report card said: “Passed with TOP MARKS in calm behaviour and sweetness. What a good puppy!”
