Kirra has found herΒ Furever HomeΒ as a Very Important Pet!
Lani first met Kirra, an advanced dog in training, when she was volunteering for PADS. βKirra is brilliant with children and people but she clearly communicated that she didnβt want to be a service dog. For one thing, she is crazy for squirrels.β
When Lani learned Kirra was going to be released, she applied for her as a VIP as both of her sons suffer from chronic illness. Kirra joined their family in December, 2017 providing a gentle, calming, loving presence.
βShe senses distress and is quick to move in and cuddle, or to lay very close to the one most in need.Β She is also energetic and happy, everyone responds to her joyful exuberance. Kirra has turned our whole family into much happier, calmer people.βΒ
