We spent a week backpacking and camping on the Berg Lake trail in Mount Robson Provincial Park. Despite having to be on leash and in cape the whole time (no dogs allowed) she had a wonderful time. It got below freezing a couple of nights so we ended up sharing my Thermarest and sleeping bag – a tight squeeze, but nice and cozy! We also watched the fireworks close up (no problem!) and were part of the Pride Parade (she was a star, getting thousands of pats, etc., and apparently enjoying every minute.) We’ve been working on down, sit, stand at a distance (up to 20 or 30 metres!) and while moving, focusing particularly on collapsing into a down from a stand without moving her feet. We also continue to work on heel, side and front with me sitting down. Loose leash walking is always a focus, too.
