CELLO has been working hard on all of the skills he will need to pass his public access test. He has shown that he would enjoy working as an accredited facility dog and he has been doing well in that role at the high school where Miranda works, including helping calm students who are going into their final exams or before their graduation ceremony where he also dressed up in support of their big day.
- Skills being learned: Chin targeting, polite greetings, “go see”, “my lap”, and “pound it”
- Recent field trips: Calgary Farmer’s Market, Alumni Rugby game, Chinook Center Mall
- Possible behavior challenges: Will stop walking suddenly and needs to be coaxed to keep walking
- Potential career path: AFD or Service
Thank you again for all your support of Advanced Dog Cello!
